At Colégio Parque do Falcão, art and environmental awareness walked hand in hand in an inspiring project. The artist Hugo Castanheira joined our students to bring the atrium mural to life, celebrating our commitment to wildlife preservation.

This mural was the final stage of an exciting project to sponsor endangered animals. The initiative included a donation to the Zoo, where each classroom chose an animal to sponsor. The students also developed creative stories, making these animals the main characters and further connecting with the cause of wildlife conservation.

To crown this educational journey, our children visited the Zoo, where they could see up close the animals that inspired their works. The experience was enriching, providing an emotional connection and a deeper learning about the importance of biodiversity.

Now, as we enter the school, we see the mural as a daily reminder of our collective responsibility to protect animals. More than an artistic expression, it symbolises a living commitment to a more sustainable and conscious future.
